The family of Thomas Eddington sued Eric Von Bokel following Eddington’s death in an automobile accident.  Bon Bokel crossed the center line of Highway 100 in St. Louis County in September 2001 and struck Eddington’s Jeep head on.  He suffered massive internal injuries, a concussion and an open fracture of the fibula.

Von Bokel claimed he was distracted by something outside of his window when he crossed the center line.
